TUALATIN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
THE HILLTOP CHURCH
20200 SW Martinazzi Ave., Tualatin, OR 97062
Come and check us out for worship on Sunday morning at 10:00 am. where we blend formal and informal expressions of music, prayers, preaching, and sacrament. Worship often begins with an opportunity to share personal joys or concerns for the day. We celebrate God's unconditional love no matter who we are, where we are from, or what we've been up to.
The Children's Message and worship music are especially dear to us in our worship. Music includes singing, piano, guitar, drums, bells, organ and many combinations there of!
During worship, the children are invited to come up front and share in a message for the day before going to Sunday school. Sunday school meets during the worship hour. Nursery Care is provided for children under 5 years old.
We have music from A to Z!! Maybe that should be A to G?? If you love to sing, play an instrument, write music, etc. come and join us on a Wednesday evening. 6:00-9:00 p.m. With varied instruments, skill level, experience and the like, it is a welcome place for everyone. Currently there is a "Chancel Choir" (usually more traditional choral music) a "Hilltop Praise" team (usually more contemporary choral music) and a bell choir (all kinds of music!). And we have many opportunities for anyone interested in offering their gifts of music from beginners to long-timers.
GREAT TIMES FOR FELLOWSHIP!
Coffee Time after worship! Small groups! And....
Several times a year we get together downstairs following worship and feast on whatever foods arrive! It is a great time to meet new folks, get re-acquainted with a friend or just enjoy listening to conversation. Of course, your won't want to miss the dessert table after the main course! So come on downstairs and grab a plate...we'll have the coffee on!
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month and our table is open to everyone. ALL are welcome to partake: members/non-members, children/adults, "first-timers", "long-timers"....you get the idea! The table is a means of God's grace for all of us! If you are interested in Baptism, please contact Rev. Amy firstname.lastname@example.org or 503-692-1820.
